New employees and new branch in NBP Group

Kent Böschen joins as CFO of the Group

Lisa Flodin will leave the NBP Group to join Cityhold Property AB as CFO. Kent Böschen will join the NBP Group as CFO with effect 1 January 2012. He has been Group Financial Controller at NR Nordic & Russia Properties since 2007, prior to which he held a variety of senior financial positions.

Appointment of Anders Johansson as Managing Director of the NBP Group
Anders Johansson has been appointed Managing Director of the NBP Group with effect from January 2012. Mr Johansson has held various positions within the real estate sector since 1993, including positions as Investment Manager at NR Nordic & Russia Properties Ltd, Investment Manager at London & Regional Nordic office, Senior Analyst at Amplion Fastigheter, and Asset Manager at the SPP insurance company. Mr Johansson holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Economics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

The NBP Group opens branch in Kaliningrad
The NBP Group opened a branch in Kaliningrad on 1 October 2011. The primary task of the branch, consisting of seven employees, is the management of the «Kaliningrad Plaza» shopping centre, which includes a shopping and entertainment mall and business centre.

Head of the branch is Larisa Smirnova, who has experience as auditor, chief accountant and positions at the Department of Federal Treasury and Kaliningrad Regional Government. Between 2007 and the transfer to her position at the NBP Group branch, Ms Smirnova has served as General Director of the former management company of the «Kaliningrad Plaza» shopping centre. She holds a PhD in Economics and is Senior Lecturer of Finance at the Baltic Federal University in Kaliningrad.

 

Lithuanian partner

In June 2011, the Nordic and Baltic Property Group acquired a joint venture with a Lithuanian partner, UAB JTC, which is owned by Jonas Tamulis, with operations and real estate of the Neringa Hotel and Neringa Restaurant in Vilnius, Lithuania.

The property is a classic historical 60-room hotel located on the main avenue of the city of Vilnius – Gedimino Avenue – in close proximity to the key business centres and tourist locations of the Old Town.

The joint venture partners are taking a long-term view of the development of the hotel and catering operations of the Neringa Hotel & Restaurant. Focus lies on providing accommodation to business travellers and tourists from both Western Europe and Scandinavia as well as from Eastern block countries, primarily from neighbouring West Russia and Belorussia.
